Good News is a film about modern slaves and modern overseers, about little animals, little apartments, little people, and little stories, about the insanity of normalcy in Austria. It is about newspaper vendors in their yellow and red uniforms: young men from India and Egypt, from Pakistan and Turkey – Muslims from the Third World who sell newspapers in the streets of Vienna. On the one hand the world of newspaper vendors, on the other the world of newspaper readers in Austria's living rooms.
