Synopsis

Two young people who undertake a journey to find a new beginning in life.

Olga who comes from the Eastern part of Europe, where unremitting poverty is the order of the day. Paul, who comes from the Western part, where unemployment means not hunger, but a crisis of meaning and sense of uselessness.

Olga believes that her happiness lies in the West, travels from the Ukraine to Austria and ends up as a cleaning lady in a geriatric hospital. In his search for work and meaning, Paul accompanies his stepfather from Austria into the East, ending up in the Uktraine..

It tells of the search for happiness and money, the depths of sex and death, and also how to clean the teeth of a stuffed fox.
