"This is the first film I made at the Vienna Film Academy. I wanted to make a film about a little person. But without the hypocritical pretense of sympathy that is typical of this kind of socially engaged documentary. I wanted to show a disabled man as an individual, whom you can make fun of or find boring, like anyone else." – Ulrich Seidl
